Do I need to be a student in order to apply at EMG summer school?

Yes. You have to be either a Bachelor or a Master student.


Where will EMG 2010 be held?

The project will be held in Bucharest.


How much does it cost to participate at EMG 2010?

Nothing. There is no participation fee. You will only need to cover your transportation to and from Bucharest. We will pay for your meals and accomodation in a hostel or a dorm. We highly recommend you bring a laptop with you so that it’s easier to do your research for the working paper.


What is the selection process comprised of?

You will have to download the form and send it to us in time. After that, you will be interviewd face-to-face (if you're in Bucharest) via Skype or telephone, whichever you find most convinient. The application form will be posted in late April - early May. Please join our newsletter to receive important updates.


Do I need to be fluent in English in order to participate?

Yes. Mr. Bokros will deliver its seminars in English. The other guests will use Romanian. Plus, you will have to write part of a research paper, so you need to be fluent in English.
